Hello, thank you for joining me.
This week we have done something a little different!
Let me explain, this year I want to start to share all that I already do, but I also want to share more about what groups and clubs there are for people with visible and invisible disabilities,
so people can see that they are not alone and that there is support out there, and where to find it.
This is something that I have wanted to do for a while now, so as Rarars Adventures is growing a bit I am able to start exploring local groups and then further afield, so where better to start than in my own community, Littlehampton!
For my first place to visit, I saw a post about "Littlehampton Hive" which is new and coming soon, which I thought was quite fitting as this was the first group that I was meeting, so I contacted them and managed to organize a meeting.
The Hive is for everyone from baby to adults, they offer a selection of different groups, including the Sen Hive which is sessions for children with special educational needs with sensory play, music and movement, art and craft, and more.
They only allow a max of 10 people as it's a small location, which isn't a bad thing as it means its a great place if you are someone that suffers from anxiety, panic attacks, or don't like large groups,
They offer a number of different groups including Stay and play, Little Honeybees, Rough, and tumble.
They also do Birthday Partys for all ages at the weekends.
Prices and groups
Valentines Disco
£5.00 per child which includes a disco and party bag
The SEN Hive £1.50 per child
Stay and play £1.00 per child
Little Honey bees £1.25
Rough and tumble £2.00
Stay and Play £2.00
(these our promotion prices so please check the website for up to date prices)
It was lovely to meet Helen to see what she is offering for the local people of Littlehampton, and Rarars Adventures wish the Hive the best of luck, we look forward to following your journey.
Thank you for letting us visit!
Don't forget to check out the film we did with The Hive where we have a more in-depth talk about what they are offering and share some of the toys and activities.
If there is a new group that you think might be a good place for Rarars Adventures to visit, to share what they offer. then please contact me so we can organize a visit.
