Hi, and welcome back to RA Reviews, I hope you are all well, I am glad to see the back of the rain for a day or two at least, hopefully, as I'm sure you are too.
So this week's review is a little different, as we have 3 very similar products, so it made sense to do all three together as you will see.
All 3 products are knives, First, we have the Easi-Grip General Purpose knife these are really good, and we were very impressed. The handles are the same as the gardening tools, very light to hold and soft to the skin, and non-slip so even if your hands are wet you will manage to keep hold of it fine. As with the tools, the handles are angeled so really comfortable in the hand especially if you have arthritis or stiff wrists or hands. The blade on this first knife is stainless steel and has a forked prong on the end, so great for cutting and picking up cheese, and chopping vegetables, as it says it is an all-purpose knife so it can be used on anything really.
The 2nd Knife is the Easi-grip Carving knife, again with the same brilliant handle, which is such a good idea for any of us with arthritis or stiff joints for any reason.
We didn't have a joint to try this on, only a freshly baked uncut loaf,( which I have to say we really enjoyed at lunchtime) The carving knife sliced the bread with ease, and with the handle angled it makes life so much easier. and I think with the sharpness of the blade it would glide through your chicken, pork, or whatever joint you fancy, just having the angled handle makes such a difference, cutting isn't a chore anymore.
The 3rd knife is the bread knife, which did cut the bread with ease, I normally really struggle to cut unsliced bread, because of the normal knife angle, but I found this one so much easier.
So there you have it, 3 knives for everything to need to cut in the kitchen, all very light to hold, very comfortable in the hand, great grip, and all with stainless steel blades and all dishwasher safe. Each one Cost £9.90or £8.25 ex vat.
